The Great Translation Movement

edit

Hi, can you tell me why you moved this article into the main article space past the AfC process? Your edit note says "The article has reached the quality standard of publishing" — how do you know that? I'm genuinely curious. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:24, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, it is my first time moving a draft to an article. There are actually 3 reasons that I moved it:
  1. Notability: the subject has satisfied the standard of Notability, since it has been reported by many trustworthy sources: VOA, RFI, DW, People's Daily, etc. There is an urgent need of creating the English version of the article parallels to the Chinese version.
  2. Neutrality: References are also made from sources of different interest parties: Global Times, etc., v.s. VOA, etc.
  3. The contents and structures resembles the Chinese version of the article, which has been published, with the quality standard satisfied.
However, as I am not familiar to this process, and you are an experienced editor, please feel free to make suggestions, or to correct my mistakes! JohnGalt1984 (talk) 07:48, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
