I see you're trying to make an update on Sharpe James. In short, your edits were reverted because you're removing information which has a source attached. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia - statements must be cited.

What exactly are you trying to change, and what are your sources for the change?

I'd also let you know that another editor has made a change, likely in response to your attempt to make changes, which clarifies that person's appeal status. Please read the new section on his fraud conviction and see if you're satisfied. If not, please be clear on what you want to change, and what your source for it is. You can make the change yourself if you have a citation to back up what you're adding - but you cannot remove accurate cited information, even if you dislike it. If you need help, feel free to leave another message on my talk.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sharpe James; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. I understand your interest in the Sharpe James article, but removing existing content which is supported by one or more reliable sources goes against our policies, similarly adding new content without a suitable reliable source goes against our policies. If you do make further changes, you must provide a reliable source (independent of both yourself and of Sharpe James) that supports your changes. Nick (talk) 22:57, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
