John Torn (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Very often at the Creative Commons, different people have access the Internet from one IP, when they need to perform the same task. I have only one account at Wikipedia (not multiple accounts). Other employees also have one account (which take part in this problem). I ask you unblock me, restore the my contribution. The alien was at war of edits with another person, in the relation copyright and license CC +. This can see at the article Секс (ru Wikipedia). This is their problems (not our). Thanks for attention! John Torn (talk) 23:29, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Your flat denial of using multiple accounts is unconvincing when both the behavioral and technical evidence strongly suggest otherwise. Not really sure what the rest of your remarks are supposed to mean, but this is the English-language Wikipedia, what they do at some other website is not our concern. The idea that this as a case of multiple users working on the same "task" is not believable, but even if it were, it makes no difference as it is essentially the same thing. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:03, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
External links
editHallo, please read here before posting external links on Wikipedia. --Dia^ (talk) 09:43, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hello, I know the rules of Wikipedia not worse, than you. It should be note: site of the CC - is not one of millions of other. Millions of permissions is created by the СС for millions of websites (including, the Wikimedia Foundation with all projects). Should all be grateful to that organization for its contribution to the development of the whole of the Internet.
- In addition: This is not a link directory. It's the same situation, how to refer to DMOZ (here it is accepted). Please, take this into consideration! - John Torn (talk) 10:12, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
- I'm pleased to read that you now Wikipedia "rules" no worse than me, but maybe you missed few points. Here they are: one should generally avoid:
- Links mainly intended to promote a website,
- Links to any search results pages, such as links to individual website searches, search engines, search aggregators, or RSS feeds.
- Mirrors or forks of Wikipedia should not be linked.(6 of the 11 links shown are from Wikipedia sites)
- Sites that are only indirectly related to the article's subject (all the other links that are not 4 of the 5 remaining links)
- The link you posted has all this issues. Therefore should not be in the article. --Dia^ (talk) 16:26, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
- I'm pleased to read that you now Wikipedia "rules" no worse than me, but maybe you missed few points. Here they are: one should generally avoid:
- Who do you fight ..... You fight with the Creative Commons. All your arguments are zero, in the context of my argument. The CC - is not one of others, but is more important. It is the Greatest Emperor, which has POWER to take away own license in relation of anyone, figuratively speaking. In theory, if Wikimedia loses the license: the result is death automatically. In addition: see: search results (in the article: "Sex" at English Wikipedia): http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Special:Search/Sex - in relation of search (your words). Where is your personal page? It is games. Nobody intervenes since the topic is such a specific, people do not want to be linked with such. Such force majeure situation (you built) has a very bad property: is a big problem for a person who had the misfortune to be in this situation. As a historian, will give an example: What happened with Rudolf Hess after trip from Germany in the U.K., in May 41? Rightly... He was declared insane.. I'm on the verge of a similar situation, thanks to you. About such things is not say out loud, especially in the context of sex. See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Ignore_all_rules : Common sense says: you must waive of the inappropriate instruction. John Torn (talk) 19:21, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
- Your answer ignored the 4 issues which Dia^ has mentioned above. Thus you are trying to insert an inappropriate link, wage an edit war against attempts to remove it, and claim that the removal constitute vandalism. From administrator side, this all looks like disruptive editing, which should stop. Materialscientist (talk) 12:27, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
- All have done what you said. I will restore. John Torn (talk) 04:06, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
