editSpeedy deletion nomination of Pre-Adam Man, and Before
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Pre-Adam Man, and Before requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Advice
editI read what you wrote on the talk page of your deleted article. As you say you are rusty on Wikipedia, I have added a Welcome message above with links that you may find helpful.
If you want to take time preparing an article without the risk of premature deletion, the best way is to start with a draft in your user space. You can do that by going to Help:Userspace draft and filling in the title of your article: a draft page will be created where you can work on it, with links to useful advice and a button to submit it when ready.
It will be worth your while to take the time to read the guide to writing WP:Your first article, and also the important policy Wikipedia:No original research, which follows from Wikipedia's mission as an encyclopedia, and includes:
"If no reliable third-party sources can be found on a topic, Wikipedia should not have an article about it. If you discover something new, Wikipedia is not the place to premiere such a discovery."
"Do not combine material from multiple sources to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any of the sources."
Finally, I see that you give your email address on your user page. That is considered unwise, because "spambots" crawl this site looking for them, and you may get unwanted mail. I see it has been there some time, so maybe you have not had a problem, but as you have enabled email on your account, other users already have a way to email you.
