Hi! I have some notes for you about the Corita Kent contributions:

• With the birth date and name related edits to the lead, there's typically a very specific way that the lead is written and formatted when it comes to biographical data. The information wasn't wrong, it's just that this type of content has a specific style format. It's usually set up to look like this:

Person Name (born January 1, 19XX, died January 1, 2019 - this section may follow the dates with the location of birth and death, but it's not a requirement), also known as Other name and Other name was a Nationality author, job, and other job.

The reason for this is actually pretty interesting - it's partially for ease of reading and to give direct information, but also so that when people look the person up on Google (or another search engine) the results will display 1-2 lines that will give them the most basic essentials of that person, namely who they are, when they were born, and what they do or did for a living. Other articles about topics will generally do the same thing, but in a different format.

• Here's the other addition:

Kent was known for her artistry and was a big advocate in social justice. She became a known member of the religious order Immaculate Heart of Mary. While there she was teaching in the art department.

The lead already mentions that she was a member of a religious order, so it's not really necessary to repeat this in the lead. If there are a lot of sources that discuss her as a social justice advocate you can place that in the lead sentence, along these lines:

Corita Kent (November 20, 1918 – September 18, 1986), born Frances Elizabeth Kent and also known as Sister Mary Corita Kent, was an American Roman Catholic religious sister, artist, social justice advocate, and educator.

The thing to keep in mind though, is that this should be covered in the main article somewhere as well.

I'm not seeing your annotated bibliography. It will help you significantly to reach the addition of 1000 words added to the article. Also, you need to paste the existing Corita Kent article in your sandbox, so you can make additions to the article. Right now, much of your text is redundant to what is already in the article. Hi Jokerridd101 I just checked and your edits and want to offer a few pieces of guidance that you will need to follow in order to have your edits successfully posted without being reverted.

• You need to work on your Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
• You need to add citations for every claim. For your purposes, you can think about this as pretty much one citation for every sentence. As we have discussed, you can reuse citations, but you have to have them there.
• You need to copyedit for grammar
