Hello

Sockpuppet?

edit

Hi! Between the fake material you included as if it were real and your skill with Wikipedia, which is surprising for an apparent newbie, I'm wondering if you're a sock puppet. If that's not the case, would you mind adding some info about who you are? --William Pietri 16:53, 14 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Sadly I don't work for the BBC if that's what you're incinuating. I am mearly a British student. Jon Hawk 21:14, 14 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the reply. Actually, I was wondering if this is a fake account fronting for a real account. --William Pietri 04:17, 15 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I see your comment on the Jamie Kane talk page. Thanks for clearing things up. --William Pietri 15:10, 15 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
I agree, your edits seem much too proficient for a newbie. Have you used Wikipedia before under a different name? Kaldari 15:41, 15 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Tommy 1975.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. File source problem with File:Jon Hawk.jpg

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Jon Hawk.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:08, 16 March 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 10:08, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
