Mission District, San Francisco, California
editHi. I really like the work you put into Mission District, San Francisco, California, however there were too many deletions in your revision. Would it be possible for you to work on building sections instead, and focus on subtopics? That will help the article grow without ruffling too many feathers. I think your removal of the Polish Club from the article was a bit over the top. The club is a Mission landmark and has contributed to the community since 1926. Anyone who has lived in the Mission for any length of time is familiar with it and knows it has cultural importance. Here is a link to your edits I reverted: [1]. I would greatly appreciate it if you would focus on one section at a time, and if you feel any content should be deleted, please bring it up on the talk page. The article needs a lot of work, but deleting important content outright is not helpful. I have many memories of the Polish Club, and when I saw your deletion I was most unhappy. —Viriditas | Talk 10:38, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the great question. This is just a note to let you know that I'll be replying on Talk:Mission District, San Francisco, California, shortly, and not on my talk page. —Viriditas | Talk 09:29, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
To respond to your question on that page, nope, there is no approvals needed to do a complete article rewrite. We encourage editors to be bold in updating pages. However, due to the vandalism factor on that page because it was jsut on tv, you may want to give it a few days before doing it. — xaosflux Talk 23:43, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi there. Rather than put a fact tag on that entry please consider simply removing it. I don't think the school actualy beats pupils and the IP of the vandalism was the school itself. No doubt some student prank but not worth asking them to substantiate such nonsense. Cheers --Spartaz 18:44, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi. Deciding between Banque Centrale du Congo and Central Bank of Congo is not a profitable use of time. Both were considered and in the interest of clarity the official name of the bank was chosen. --McTrixie/Mr Accountable 09:27, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Lummi Island
editHi. I created the Lummi Island article and consider myself something of a steward for it. I know it is silly, but there is virtually nothing about this island on the page. I restored the "notable residents" section.
Anyway, I am quite sure I live within five blocks of you, on Eastlake Ave. How's it going? Zweifel 01:15, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
