Wikiproject: Salmonidae will do work on articles about salmon and trout. This would be important because some salmon articles barely are more than stubs, like chum salmon. Also, it will work on verifing information in salmon articles.

Why this is important

I have seen some salmon articles, and they need work. See above about the chum salmon problem.
