Wikipedia isn't a place to advertise your blog or Twitter feed, or to promote yourself - it looks like spamming, which happens a lot in userspace. Userpages are where you can tell a little about yourself and your interests on Wikipedia. Driving traffic to personal projects is generally frowned upon, and links to personal activities are best left for later, after you've worked on the encyclopedia project for a while.
