Your draft article

edit

You briefly posted to my Talk page about your first article, before self-reverting. I had started to look at the draft before you removed your query, so here are a couple of comments.

Firstly, there are a lot of references! That is not a bad thing, but can look to a reviewer like "ref bombing". I suggest pruning, especially those connected with the subject, such as Real World Records routine announcements. Focus on the important independent references especially BBC News, The Observer, Royal Philharmonic Society. These are strong accolades which don't deserve to be lost among the mundane.

I now see you have disclosed a conflict of interest on your User page, which is good to do. It can also be good to WP:DISCLOSE it on the draft article's Talk page, to be clear.

Thanks very much for the advice. I have now reduced the number of references in the article so hopefully that is a bit better now. Really appreciate your guidance, thank you. JCW (talk) 15:07, 20 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
