Hi Jozette! here are my first thoughts on your entry in progress.

In the background section, before the summary, it might be useful to describe what prompted the collection after Lorde's death. A little bit of publication history, in other words, might emphasize to readers how the collection continues (or departs from) the trajectory of Lorde's work.

I think I remember your saying during one session grappling with what to include in the summary -- and how. Reading what you have here, is your next step to describe the piece that follows "The Transformation of Silence..." and to continue in that fashion? Or perhaps, following on the themes you mention in the background paragraph, you'll describe which pieces address which themes, and how? Another strategy might be to organize your summary by genre: summarize the essays, then the speeches, etc. Does the collection group the pieces by genre or theme? that organization might help you determine yours.
