References for Death in Ancient Greek Art
editHi Jpaga, I have been polishing up a number of the (generally very well referenced!) articles from your course. I think it is an excellent idea to have a kind of hub article in the form of Death in Ancient Greek Art. However, even articles such as this that refer only to subjects already well sourced in their specific articles require sourcing of their own. I would suggest that each of the individual sections should feature one representative reference from the full article. Could you ask your students to do one last sweep through their contributions, pick the most representative reference from each article (or several, if considered suitable), and use that to source the corresponding paragraph in Death in Ancient Greek Art? Cheers! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 14:04, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
Thanks Elmidae -- Unfortunately, the class has ended for the year and these students will not take the class again. If I do a similar project next year, however, I will make sure to emphasize this! Jpaga (talk) 18:07, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
A page you started (Drinking cup (kylix) depicting athletic combats by Onesimos) has been reviewed!
editThanks for creating Drinking cup (kylix) depicting athletic combats by Onesimos, Jpaga!
Wikipedia editor Nick Moyes just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
I've just had to spend 20 minutes cleaning up this article because it used the same reference again and again. I realise you created this article shortly after starting on Wikipedia. Maybe by now you are aware that this not not good practice as it bloats the reference pages. If n not, please learn how to use repeated citations here: WP:NAMEDREFS. Many thanks, and I'm sorry the review took so long. (Just 3,400 to go to get rid of the backlog!)
