Initially I thought your article on IUComputerGamingClub might not meet the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia. Since you've greatly expanded the article, I've removed the cleanup notice. -- Longhair 17:02, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- This article has now been deleted three times (last time with nonsense content) so perhaps you're wondering what's going on. It's like this: individual university clubs are almost never notable. The few very rare exceptions are groups like Cambridge Footlights, whose alumni include a whole generation of legendary figures (including the Monty Python team). Unless you can make a compelling case for the notability of this club, it is unlikely to be ocnsidered worthy of an article; since no such assertion was made in the article, it was speedily deleted under criterion A7, an article about a real person, group of people, band, or club that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject. You are free to take this up at deletion review, but I'm afraid your chances are slim. Just zis Guy you know? 17:44, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
