Resubmit Draft:Linda G. Mills

edit

Hi Jtbknyc, if you are still online resubmit the draft and I will accept it. Mills is notable. S0091 (talk) 20:29, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much - I just resubmitted. Jtbknyc (talk) 20:30, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Done. For future reference, see the notability guidelines for academics. I am assuming you are the IP that submitted the draft originally. Although clearly notable, I could not accept a two-sentence draft with only one source. S0091 (talk) 20:36, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I"m a bit concerned that most of the article is sourced to NYU, which she is associated with and therefore would count as a WP:SPS. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:39, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Blaze Wolf, see WP:PROF. It is one of the exceptions to GNG and references to the academic institution is acceptable. The president of a large university such NYU is automatically notable (see also List of presidents of New York University). S0091 (talk) 20:45, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ah alright then. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:47, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
the first article was actually not submitted by me - I stumbled upon it when I went to submit... Jtbknyc (talk) 20:46, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Wonderful! Don't worry about the layout 'tag" I just placed on it. Other editors should hopefully come along and spruce it up. I am surprised the article was not already created honestly. S0091 (talk) 20:55, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
