Russell Hurlburt moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Russell Hurlburt, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 09:55, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:38, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Anything specific this is referring to? I'm aware of the policies and try my best to adhere to them already. Julianbassk (talk) 17:04, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:39, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Julianbassk. Congratulations of the Russell Hurlburt article. The new references showed the necessary notability for the article. I recommend you re-write the first paragraph as it is currently about the method he developed, not about him. MOS:LEADBIO has some advice on this. I also added a comment to the talk page that I think some work is needed on the Books section. All the best, Mgp28 (talk) 18:35, 9 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
