Kate - you did a good job on the training, but did not complete your user page. Please follow the instructions in Assignment 1 to get full credit for this assignment. J.R. Council (talk) 21:48, 25 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello Dr. Council - I thought I had completed my user page, but it looks like it was on my sandbox page instead. I have made the changes, and you should be able to see my completed user page now. Jund NDSU (talk) 22:07, 25 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello Group #4!

edit

- Here are my 5 possible topics for our Wikipedia Group Project: 1. Robbert Ressler 2. Patrick Mullany 3. Howard Teten 4. Criminal Psychology 5. Modus Operandi. Let me know what you think! Jund NDSU (talk) 20:45, 2 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

An individual I found that I think would be good to edit is Alan Lloyd Hodgkin. He and another won the Nobel Prize for describing action potentials of neurons. There is a lot on his partner but very little information on him, so I think would be a good possibility. Jacobgable (talk) 16:57, 5 February 2018 (UTC).Reply

Just a question for reference, are we looking to create a new page on someone or update an already existing one? Trevor B. (talk) 17:17, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Trevor, I think either or? My vote is either Alan Lloyd Hodgkin or Patrick Mullany. Either of those two are interesting to me and have a ton of potential for expansion.--TBarneson (talk) 18:03, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

- As we discussed in class, we are going to take until tomorrow, Tuesday, at 5 p.m. to each find two topics for which we have interest in and that we would be able to find enough information on as possible topics. We will decide on the final two possible topics tomorrow evening and e-mail Dr. Council to let him know our choices. Jund NDSU (talk) 19:37, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

The two topics I decided on modus operandi and Howard Teten & Patrick Mullany. I know it might be a bit of an undertaking to do two pages/two subjects, but I feel if we were to pick either Howard Teten or Patrick Mullany, we should just do both since there is so little on both of their wiki pages, and since they worked so closely together, I don't feel it's fair to pick one or the other. Just a thought!! Jund NDSU (talk) 00:34, 6 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Wiki-project Selections

edit

Hello all,

I'm just going to add a new heading for our Wiki-project selections to keep things tidy.

Kate: modus operandi and Howard Teten & Patrick Mullany Tom: Alan Lloyd Hodgkin or Patrick Mullany Trevor: Robert W. White (abnormal psychology) or the Gestalt wiki page (literally asking for help) Jacob: Alan Lloyd Hodgkin Trevor B. (talk) 17:54, 6 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

To make this easy as possible to choose our top two topics, I'm going to do a little poll of sorts. I'm going to write down all of the topics we picked and if you guys could, just go through and either put a star or your name or something next to the two you want to vote for, and which ever two have the most votes will be the ones we will email to Dr. Council. Jund NDSU (talk) 00:47, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Modus Operandi:
Howard Teten: *
Patrick Mullany: * * *
Alan Lloyd Hodgkin: *
Robert W. White:
Gestalt: *

Our two topics we have picked are:

1. Patrick Mullany (top choice)
2. Alan Lloyd Hodgkin

I don't know much about Patrick Mullany, but he seems like a good choice. Make sure you can get enough new information to significantly develop the article.J.R. Council (talk) 22:23, 14 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
