edit- Hi JungleJoe, The links are all Chinese language references so I don't think they are appropriate for the English Wikipedia. Also, while I personally like original research, Wikipedia is supposed to have already existing knowledge (published in other places) rather than original work. I agree with you that the number of references is overkill. Personally I would simply remove the Chinese language references because this is an English language Wikipedia and it is very difficult for non-Chinese speakers to be able to evaluate the quality of the information and reference site. On the other hand we do have translate.google.com to see if the text actually matches the source.
