- Thank you so much! That was actually really helpful. I always get so confused with the summaries... Juniper4589 (talk) 15:57, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Episode Plot summary too long
editYour plot summaries in the episode list in Ergo Proxy are too long, please keep them close to 200 characters as possible.Lucia Black (talk) 00:31, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
- How many words/lines (about) is 200 characters? I feel the one liners from before are way too short. I was thinking of trimming the summaries down to 3 or 4 lines, as seems to be the norm with other anime episode lists. Would that be ok? Also, I would really like to edit the lead to add some sources but I have no idea how... Any tips? Thanks! Juniper4589 (talk) 00:58, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
- I've shortened the summaries a bit for now, and will return tomorrow to make further edits! Juniper4589 (talk) 01:44, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
- You add reference templates next to the given information added. There are templates for adding in reliable sources and . the templates are Cite Web, Cite Book, Cite episode are probably be the most common ones you use for anime such as ergo proxy. There are several Parameters but you wont need to use most or even half, just compare the other tempaltes added in other articles and how you can do the same. Its alot easier to see how theyre being used then trying to learn right off the ba with the document of the templates. Be sure to make sure for Cite web you don't find unreliable sources such as wikia or youtube or anything similar unless proven to be reliable. Usually you do not need to cite plot or story sections.Lucia Black (talk) 04:49, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
