Draft:Michael Stall

edit

Your submission lacks of references. More are needed. Cite third party sources: mainstream publication, magazines, newspapers and books. Moreover, content is lacking regarding Michael. You could add in on his background, career. Notability doesn't exist because there are limited sources and there isn't much information about him. PS, The Five Doors, Jack Rhys and Eternity Merchants are his works and not him. A biography is written about a person and his life. Your submission gives that you are promoting his works rather than him and himself. Moreover, your article is haphazardly written. There is even your signature on the article. EROS message 12:52, 22 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi user EROS - I did add those references - I am not sure what the issue is? Just Because ! (talk) 05:01, 9 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

External links in article body

edit

Hi, at Waiheke Island, thank you for the additions. External links should normally be avoided in the article body; could you take a moment to convert them to references, links to other articles (even if they don't exist and the link becomes red) or remove them if they are neither a reference nor meant to replace a link to a currently non-existent article? Thank you very much in advance.   ~ ToBeFree (talk) 14:32, 8 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi ~ ToBeFree - I added a note to your talk page - not sure if it's better there or here ;-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justbecause09 (talkcontribs) 00:04, 9 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hi Justbecause09, thank you for both messages, and for doing this.   Either page works nicely; I think most users prefer to reply on the same page to keep all messages of a conversation together in one place. A few others, however, prefer the guaranteed notification caused by a talk page message. Notifying the recipient on any other page is a bit more difficult: The message needs to contain both a link to the user page (nicely done above, easier with {{u}}) and a signature (~~~~). Both need to be added in the same edit; adding a signature later doesn't cause a notification.
One beautiful day this weird system will hopefully be replaced by properly working, intuitive discussion software. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 03:15, 9 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hey again ~ ToBeFree Good message - and wow - those cookies look good - I'd sure like to eat some right now I hate VR sometimes ;-) Yes this wikipedia place is so perverse but it's certainly amazing! Have you been to Waiheke? Is that you playing at what looks like the Waiheke Musical Museum? Lovely and amazing talent you have there! Just Because ! (talk) 04:57, 9 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

😀 Thank you very much, glad you like it. Geographically, New Zealand is pretty much the most distant point on earth from my location. I have sadly never been there yet; the video has been made at University of Wuppertal, where a piano for whatever reason stands at the front of the largest lecture hall. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:22, 9 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
