Unusual moves

edit

Hello Justus. Recently you moved a page to User:Nana ET Matvey. You also did another move to Wikipedia:Nana ET Matvey. I'm going to have to revert these, because neither is in the proper namespace for this kind of page. Let me know if this causes you any inconvenience, or if you need further assistance. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 18:07, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Justus, some of your moves make no sense. If you want to change your user name, there is a procedure for that (WP:CHU/S), but you can't just set up your files at User:Nana ET Matvey when that is not your name. You also shouldn't be moving something like that into the main space:
  • 18:33, 28 September 2016 Justus Tler (talk | contribs | block) moved page User:Justus Tler/sandbox to Nana ET Matvey (link) (revert) (Tag: a new user moving a page out of the userspace)
EdJohnston (talk) 18:44, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much, now it works. Best regards --Justus Tler (talk) 22:25, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Enfants Terribles (artists)‎

edit

Hello Justus Tler, I have reverted the referencing and structure changes back to the previously fixed version - de-Wiki and en-Wiki have differing layout guidelines in that regard. Maybe you are used to the German Wiki's handling? Please see the English Wikipedia's guidelines like MOS:LAYOUT for more information. Also, harvard referencing needs only be activated if the reference is actually used in a shortenend footnote (like Template:sfn) - otherwise it's better to just disable it, or skip the parameter "ref=" completely (default is "disabled" anyway). Hope that clarifies the background of these changes. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 21:22, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello GermanJoe. It is easier for me to write in german Wikipedia, because it is my main language, but I try my best :-) Thank you for your help Best regards --Justus Tler (talk) 22:21, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Popdada vs. Enfants Terribles (artists)

edit

Another quick point (sorry for the double-post), but it seems like Popdada has a huge topical overlap with Enfants Terribles (artists), large parts of both articles are identical or very similar. I am not entirely sure, but it may be better to cover "Popdada" in a distinct separate section in Enfants Terribles (artists) instead of a separate article. Large chunks of duplicate information should generally be avoided, and both topics seem to be very closely related. Another advantage for editors and readers alike: duplicate information wouldn't have to be maintained twice in two separate pages. Just a suggestion though. GermanJoe (talk) 21:46, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • PS: Just in case this wasn't mentioned before: if you are connected to these artists in any way, you should read through and follow Wikipedia's "conflict of interest" guideline at WP:COI. Such connections must be openly disclosed. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 21:46, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • Thank you for your help and your meaning about double-information. I will differentiate and shorten the articles, so they are not identical more, because I would like separate the information about Popdada and Enfants Terribles. Best regards --Justus Tler (talk) 22:07, 28 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

March 2021

Hello, I'm Smjg. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Jim Avignon. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — Smjg (talk) 22:01, 24 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Per Holland Bastrup moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Per Holland Bastrup, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Right now there are zero in-depth sources from independent, reliable, secondary references. Searches did not turn up any either. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
