License tagging for Image:Widzer joel CV 2006.pdf

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Widzer joel CV 2006.pdf. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:12, 5 June 2006 (UTC) copyright Joel Widzer 2006

  Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Widzer. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://www.jetready.com/home.php in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Widzer with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Widzer with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a {{hangon}} tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Widzer saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.

It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. AfD nomination of Widzer

edit

Widzer, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Widzer satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Widzer and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Widzer during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. - Philippe | Talk 05:21, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

In order to confirm that you are who you claim to be, you need to send an email from an address associated with the source website to "permissions-en AT wikimedia DOT org". It will be reviewed by the OTRS staff and, if everything is in order, they will leave a template on the article's talk page confirming that you are authorized to copy text from the source website. The copied text cannot be used until the template is added. If you want to rewrite the article in your own words (or in your own different words), you can go ahead. Be careful not to delete the AfD template, and please also review WP:AUTO first. Thanks. -- But|seriously|folks  06:40, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Joel Widzer

edit

A tag has been placed on Joel Widzer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Toddst1 (talk) 01:17, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
