Special:Contributions/K2cheesynachos at this time shows that you have finished the online student training at https://dashboard.wikiedu.org/training/students. Thank you for completing the student training, please propose a few topics that you wish to write on Wikipedia. You should read all related articles on Wikipedia and draft your new article(s) or revision to existing article(s) in your sandbox. We are looking forward to seeing

  • Your proposed topic(s)
  • Brief outline of your contributions to the article
  • References for the article and sources of media files (photo/VDO/drawing) to be used in the article.

in your sandbox by Friday 6th October. There will be a few reminders before the deadline. Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask. --Taweetham (talk) 02:49, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is a reminder that you have to complete your homework by Friday 6th October to continue with Wikipedia Education Program. It is best that you attempt it before the deadline and we can give you early feedback and directions. --Taweetham (talk) 00:08, 4 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Topic Aryl is approved. However, you need more details in your proposal. Where will the media/references come from? Please complete this asap. --Taweetham (talk) 05:30, 7 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Curious if the topic Monomer is also a possibility. Will get the media and reference lists done asap too. K2cheesynachos (talk) 13:12, 7 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
I have read Talk:Monomer and decided against it. You should completely understand the existing article and its talk page before you can confidently make a substantial change to it. Aryl appears to be easier. --Taweetham (talk) 06:44, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Outline and source including the textbook are approved. However, you should use exiting media on Wikimedia commons or create new ones by yourself. Do not take media files from other people. Please start editing the article now. --Taweetham (talk) 06:46, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

According to the timeline on course page, you are expected to contribute at least 500 bytes by the 13th October. It does not need to be perfect at this time if it is on your sandbox for new article. It has to be somewhat presentable if you are editing the existing article directly. Further optional training on the course page will help you. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. --Taweetham (talk) 09:59, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please merge your draft in to the existing article. Be careful with WP:NOT and WP:COPYVIO. We expect to see your work in the article namespace by Friday the 20th of October. --Taweetham (talk) 02:46, 14 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Quick question - I want to draw a chemical reaction because I couldn't find it anywhere online. Is there any recommended program for doing so? If not, are there any alternative methods I could use to draw these reactions? K2cheesynachos (talk) 07:08, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • There are online tools to help you draw chemical structures e.g. chemdoodle.
  • There are existing photos on Wikimedia commons where your can modify with graphic software.
  • The software chemdraw also allow you free trials.
I hope these help. You only need to do this for this article only. All of the three approaches should work fine for this purpose. --Taweetham (talk) 03:41, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

A reviewer has been assigned to you. Please check course page for more information. The reviewer will be your mentor for this assignment from this week onward. --Taweetham (talk) 01:39, 15 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank your for your contribution to the article. There are a number of possible improvements:

  1. Please add more references and help format the existing references. You have a large chunk of text without references.
  2. Please plan how would you create media files for your article.
  3. Please read article discussion page and try to address issues discussed there.
  4. Please read general information on the course page to make sure that you satisfy all aspects of our grading criteria.

Can you talk about the difference between benzyl and phenyl group in the article? --Taweetham (talk) 08:51, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

This part has been added under the section "Nomenclature" in the article K2cheesynachos (talk) 15:03, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Thank you for your participation in the education program. Here are your final feedbacks:

  • Please make sure that references are correctly cited, ".[1]" not" [1]."
  • The rest of the article looks fine to me. In the meantime, you can contribute more by checking your peer's articles. Bear in mind that peer review is also part of the grading criteria.

Good luck! --Athikhun.suw (talk) 03:38, 11 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
