editHello, I'm Flori4nK. I noticed that you recently removed content from International Space Station without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Flori4nKT A L K 17:48, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
I will be more specific next time. There has recently been a new addition to the ISS of 2 people and that makes it 5 people. Thank you for your information, your KEDJ1000 KEDJ1000 (talk) 19:20, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Erwin Rommel
editHey, just wanted to explain why I reverted your edit to the first paragraph of the Rommel article. Although your edit was factually correct and bolstered by a citation, I felt it was a little out of place so early in the lede section. I also think his lack of official Nazi Party affiliation is covered sufficiently in the sentence in the fourth paragraph: He was a supporter of Adolf Hitler, at least until near the end of the war, if not necessarily sympathetic to the party and the paramilitary forces associated with it.
You're free to disagree and advocate for re-inserting that sentence, but I'd ask that you garner some input from the community first on the article's talk page. Thanks! --Jprg1966 (talk) 00:20, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Jprg1966 None of us are factually wrong, so I believe a compromise would be the best solution. Any suggestions? Because both of my parents are Holocaust educators, and I (at least in my opinion as a Jew myself) truly believe that Hitler hired Rommel because he was an excellent battle stragest during WW1, not because he was a supporter. Though I must give you absolute credit that he was (sadly) close to Hitler. KEDJ1000 (talk) 10:46, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your considerate reply. I am Jewish myself and applaud your parents for their work. I have an idea for a compromise: Why don't you add the following text I've bolded in this sentence in the fourth paragraph:
After the Nazis gained power in Germany, Rommel gradually accepted the new regime but did not join the Party.
