Hello, I'm Favonian. I noticed that you made a change to an article, David Luiz, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. So far, it's unconfirmed. Please don't re-add until there is a reliable source for the transfer. Favonian (talk) 18:34, 23 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did to David Luiz, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The transfer window does not open until 10 June, so David Luiz cannot join a new team until then. In fact, PSG said in its announcement that the move won't take place until then.   Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Cesc Fàbregas. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Transfers do not take effect until 1 July Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:54, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I don't care if he signed today, the transfer doesn't take effect until what date? Don't ever leave profanity on my talk page again. If you can't write like an adult, find a different platform on which to edit. Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:00, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
(talk page stalker) @Walter Görlitz: @KKAT4: Hi I have seen your "dispute" and want to express my opinon. First of all there is absolutely no reason for that kind of language as I saw, that is not acceptable in any way. Regarding the issue, many transfer windows open 1 July 2014 and this table gives the opening and closing dates for a number of leagues, and shows the windows in France, Germany, Italy (albeit unsourced) and Spain open on 1 July (Why it is 9 June on table for England I dont know). But as pointed out to me earlier the british window opens "at midnight on the last day of the season". This comment made by Struway2 at WT:FOOTY gives a good overview of English transfer window dates. However player contracts expire 30 June so players going to new clubs for free can not change club until 1 July, but in cases of transfers they can. QED237 (talk) 21:20, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Now I am not so sure anymore because below table it says "Although, in England, the transfer window formally opens on 1 July, transfers between clubs in the same association can take place as soon as the last competitive fixtures for the season have been played." QED237 (talk) 21:23, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Then use a reliable source: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/transfer-window-summer-transfer-window-3101123 Sorry. Transfer window opens 1 July, but contracts and pre-agreements can be signed at any time. Even if the transfer window opened on April 1 in England, it doesn't open until 1 July in Spain and so they can't release him until June 30. Walter Görlitz (talk) 22:04, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
One more time (final) I ask you to drop the attitude, keep a good tone or you risk being blocked from editing. Do not attack other editors and dont expect immediate replies, people have lives outside wikipedia and may not respond immediately, that dont give you "right". Stop with "I am right, everyone else is wrong"-attitude now and tone down your language. QED237 (talk) 22:05, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
And as Walter Görlitz say, you must use reliable source always. QED237 (talk) 22:06, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Walter Görlitz: As far as I know it is only the transfer window of buying team that counts, same in summer when italy window closes 18:00 CET but england can still by italy players until midnight. QED237 (talk) 22:09, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
