Founded in 2017 by John Swigart and Dax Craig, Pie Insurance offers workers’ compensation insurance to small businesses in 36 states and Washington, DC. The company leverages “data and analytics in its effort to offer SMBs a way to get insurance digitally and more affordably”.[1] Pie Insurance sells insurance policies directly to small businesses and also partners with local, regional, and national insurance agencies.[2]
