Welcome!

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! June 2021

Hello, Kapil121. This is your user talk page; the purpose of this page is for notification and communication with other Wikipedia editors. It is not a workspace for articles in progress or self-promotion. Please use your user sandbox or the draft article space to practice editing or create new articles. Thank you. Right, Thanks. Kapil121 (talk) 03:38, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. General Ization Talk 05:59, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for unintentional errors. I’ll make sure I follow the guidelines here on. Also I myself already stopped editing. Thanks Kapil121 (talk) 06:30, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Are you trying to use some sort of automation to edit Wikipedia, (i.e., a bot)? If so, please read WP:Bot policy. The operation of unapproved bots, or use of approved bots in ways outside their approved conditions of operation, is prohibited and may in some cases lead to blocking of the user account and possible sanctions for the operator. General Ization Talk 06:32, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
No., not an automation. Though I have a list of entities that are generally found having errors on wikipedia. Rest assured I work in interest of community and will contribute in only positive ways Kapil121 (talk) 06:38, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
I hope your assumption is not simply that piped links "are generally found having errors". Every one of the links you modified used a pipe to contextualize the link, and in nearly every case your modification made the displayed value incorrect in the context in which the link was used. Making small changes

edit

Hello All, I am making a few small changes based on my expertise of language. Do revert back to discuss

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The block was not necessary to prevent damage since I already discussed on the talk page in June section and had stopped making any changes. All changes were based on certain heuristics which went wrong due to a small error and I will correct and properly verify before making anymore changes. I understand what I am blocked for and will not do it again, and you will make productive contributions.

Decline reason:

Pretty much every one of your edits is incorrect. You'll have to be more explicit about what you'll do differently. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 14:23, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the only way you're going to regain access using this account is to agree to not implement any form of automation that edits any portion of Wikipedia without following the BRFA process to submit your automation for review and approval. That process includes agreeing to thoroughly test your automation only outside of mainspace. "Automation" in this sense refers to any script, process or bot that allows you to rapidly modify Wikipedia articles or Talk pages. Also, you will agree to not implement any automation that attempts to make context-sensitive changes that generally require a high degree of human attention (as the use of pipes to contextualize wikilinks invariably does, regardless of any "expertise of language" you may claim). Failing that, I don't see you regaining access. General Ization Talk 12:35, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I will follow all the above instructions and assure you that only manual changes will be made from this account. For automation I will get a BRFA approved and also make sure not to make any context sensitive edits. Thanks Kapil121 (talk) 12:59, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
You will need to submit another {{unblock}} template with your commitments, which you are not making to me but to the admin who reviews your request. General Ization Talk 13:01, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:K.Kapil77 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/K.Kapil77. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  - TheresNoTime 😺 18:10, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
