I am 202.93.217.182. I made an account to expand Bruneian football articles better. Hopefully I could be of great assistance to the football scene in my country, but once again I would like to reiterate that I do not have any affiliation with NFABD or DPMM FC and am working with this on my own free will and enthusiasm. List of foreign football players in Brunei moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, List of foreign football players in Brunei, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:26, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kapisan2016, Pls note that stand alone lists do need independent, reliable sources to support the content claimed just like any other article - pls see [[Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists[edit source]]]. Once you have provided sources then click submit button. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:28, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Many of these lists do not have any sources themselves. I'll be inserting some of them, but do I have to recreate the page? かぴさん Kapisan (talk) 00:36, 27 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Do you have info about the three Malaysians? Thank you. TanahTumpuhnyaDarahku (talk) 13:51, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

This would be easy if KRFC had a consistent outlet for announcements. They have three IG accounts, one FB account and no website to speak of. There is also no information coming out of Sabah. They are trialing a new keeper along with some other new faces in this recent friendly, so there might be changes to the roster too, making my edits premature. かぴさん Kapisan (talk) 01:12, 17 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Draft:List of foreign football players in Brunei concern

edit

Hi there, I'm MDanielsBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:List of foreign football players in Brunei, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. MDanielsBot (talk) 01:23, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the warning. I have decided to userfy the page. I still think that it is unfair that similar pages to the one I created also have only few sources though. かぴさん Kapisan (talk) 05:50, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:List of foreign football players in Brunei

edit

Hello, Kapisan2016. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "List of foreign football players in Brunei".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 15:06, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Brunei national football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ali Mustafa. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

July 2022

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Nurikhwan Othman. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 16:10, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Kapisan2016. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Charlie Clough, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Based on edit summaries, there is direct contact of Charlie Clough with you. If that is the truth, please do not edit on his behalf as this present a COI. Thanks Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 09:17, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't know how writing facts constitute a COI and that the page has not been updated in weeks. かぴさん Kapisan (talk) 09:19, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Referring to the edit summaries here and here, the player thinks the infobox indicates you might have some form of communication of said player. Perhaps it is mentioned in some interviews that Charlie Clough prefers to have apps/goals tally should include cup competitions but I have no idea if there is any. As per my extra message above, Based on edit summaries, there is direct contact of Charlie Clough with you. If that is the truth, please do not edit on his behalf as this present a COI. If there is no direct communication by Clough with you then there is no COI and that will be the end of this matter. Thanks. Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 10:11, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

British English

edit

Hi, I am not sure that you understand the differences between British English and American English. You have reverted a number of my edits, citing lack of 'British English' - yet you personally fail to have a grasp of correct British English. You referred to Gramarly on my talk page - but that is specifically for American English. There are thousands of Wikipedia articles using British English which do NOT capitalise table headers, navbox headers (and similar). In British English grammar, ONLY proper nouns, along with the first letter of the first word of a sentence should be capitalised (and even then, there are rules to over-ride first word sentence capitalisation - such as iPad, iPhone, and similar). I am a British national, born and educated to professional level in the UK - so I am extremely confident in the correct usage of British English grammar. Happy to assist or advise you further. Best regards. Militum professio scriniarii (talk) 14:17, 19 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Militarymen first?

edit

It feels like Prof is trying to place the MS ABDB players as militarymen first and footballers second with the updates. They are here by merit of being footballers (which is not being ambiguous because why the hell would a team of a different sport play in a football league?) and their articles should be written in a footballer's context imho. Also WP:COMMONNAME should take precedence, no one talks about MS ABDB in any other context than football when they talk about football. かぴさん Kapisan (talk) 03:24, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
