Steinway
editOk then. In the future, would you mind using edit summaries when you blank pages (even better, don't blank them at all)? It should prevent confusion. Keep up the good work. Cheers - Myanw 11:16, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

A reference regarding: "Grand of the artists" in the article Steinway & Sons
editHey,
Someone has added a {{fact}} regarding the name of the 500,000th Steinway piano "Grand of the artists". I see that you have added the name "Grand of the artists" on May 31, 2007. That is why I am writing you. I think it would be very good if we could add a reference, that would make the very good article about Steinway better.
I have been sourcing very long time for a reference on the internet, but unfortunately without luck. I really hope that you will help me finding a reference to verify the name "Grand of the artists". Mayby you got it from a book...
From the section Steinway & Sons#Transformations:
"In 1987 Steinway made their 500,000th piano, making a milestone in the history of musical instruments. The piano was built by the Steinway factory in New York with some participation from the Steinway factory in Hamburg. The 500,000th Steinway was designed by artist Wendell Castle and was named "Grand of the artists".[citation needed]"
Thank you very much. Fanoftheworld (talk) 12:00, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called KarlKunde. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name KarlKunde~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
