Bay Area Science Fiction Association
editTo answer your question when you removed the prod from Bay Area Science Fiction Association, I have nothing against SciFi groups in particular. Several related articles came to my attention while patrolling new articles which led to discovering some older SciFi group articles with issues. If they cant be shown to meet WP:ORG, unfortunately they will be deleted. All articles are treated the same in this regard. Nothing against SciFi group articles in particular.--RadioFan (talk) 02:20, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

- Comment By the criteria you appear to want to use, I cannot prove YOU exist. I'd have a hard time proving that I exist, for that matter. There are newspaper articles that reference me, but they're unlikely to be online anymore. Oh, wait a minute, KPIX television did a story about me a few years ago; I might possibly be able to find the video. So, yes, I can prove my existance, but not yours. - These aren't my rules, these are part of the foundation of Wikipedia. Notability is demonstrated by coverage in 3rd party sources. This is what keeps Wikipedia from being overrun by articles about any and everything. Its not just about proving existence, its about notability. Your existence or mine doesn't matter here, only whether or not this article can ben shown to meet Wikipedia's guidelines. Let's stick to that please. Take a look at the welcome information here and the links I've included. I didn't write these, these were written over the years by many many editors. I'm sorry you aren't feeling very welcome here and that's certainly not my or anyone else's intention. However, if you want to participate here, you've got to do so according to the established guidelines.
