editHe has been a candidate for the parliament for two times from Rasuwa district. he has been in the politics since 40 years of time. he is the member of Mahasamiti of Nepali Congress. He is a grest leader in rasuwa and has been contributing through his source and force for rasuwa since 2034 B.S . In the history of rasuwa Bal Chandra Poudel is the first person to be elected from Nepali Congress from rasuwa in 2046 B.S. However he lost two times in elections he is also one of the powerful leader in NC.
Personal Life
editPoudel comes from Laharepawa rasuwa one of the developing village in province no. 3 to father Gopal Prasad Poudel and mother Cholakumari poudel. He married to Radha Poudel .
2064 BS CA election
editMr. Bal Chandra Poudel has been a candidate in CA election 2064 B.S. During his election period in rasuwa he was attacked by maoists in dandagaun, Rasuwa. Then he was immediately taken to nearby hospital and after was taken in Teaching Hospital by airs. He had serious wound in head and was immediately treated in teaching hospital. After all those incidents he is still performing in rasuwa
