The article titled "Globules of fat", it is written in a very unbiased manner and related to the topic being discussed, which makes it a more reliable source as apposed to being written to direct its audience to leaving the article with a specific perspective on the topic. The sources represented within the article are available to the public which is useful. However, upon opening the article a large box indicated that the article has multiple issues that have gone noticed to editors and readers, primarily on requiring additional citation(s) to prove the information's verification, as well as obtaining an experts perspective on the article itself. I took it upon myself to read through the sources for any plagiarism and lack of citation and it seemed to me as there was no error currently present; the questions raised may have been due to the language of the article and how similar it sounds to a textbook or published article's language which is understandable. The information is not out of date; the article was created to be more of a brief overview of the topic as opposed to an extensive definition and description of fat globules. I feel as though the information is well-rounded and touches a limited variety of the diversity in how the topic affects the body as a whole, rather than simply stating what the topic is and not giving any examples to further understand what is being discussed. Not sure what yournfinal judgement is. You need to be less wordy and get to the point. Exactly what needs to be done to improve it? In my opinion it needs a more organized overhaul with figures (remember the lecture showing how low density lipoproteins are taken into the cell). It would also be very nice to have an open access image of an actual cell with a fat globule in it. I would also say right up on top that it is a fat globule. Someone suggested renaming it but that seems to be impossible in wikipedia from what I can tell. MAybe try starting a new page called fat globule by copying it and leaving a note saying globules of fat needs to go away and see if the powers over our head let us do it? I would ask Ian first. This one definitely has potential for you to make a meaningful contribution if you are up for it.Jparcoeur (talk) 18:24, 1 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
