If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Association of Medical and Dental Students of India(AMDSI) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dori ☾Talk ☯ Contribs☽ 20:54, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Kshitij Bhardwaj
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kshitij Bhardwaj requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

editPlease do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Kshitij Bhardwaj. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 06:53, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Creating articles
editHi Kshitij, just a brief note of explanation: for an organisation or a person to be eligible for a Wikipedia article, there must be significant coverage (of the organisation or person) in multiple reliable secondary sources. In other words, the organisation or person must have been written about in newspapers, books or on reliable websites. There's more about this policy (which is one of the most important policies in Wikipedia) here. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 07:01, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
About AMDSI
editAssociation of Medical and Dental Students of India(AMDSI) is now amongst one of the biggest student Associations in India. You can check out the website http://www/amdsi.co.in. We are having more than 1600 members in our Association which is one of the biggest no. for a Medical students' association in India. I don't see any reason in removing it from wikipedia if one such article on All India Law Students' Association already exists on it. Educational institutions are out of your policy and we are doing a great work in that field. Please review my request once again.

Please stop
editWikipedia is not a noticeboard for people to write about themselves and their own organizations. If you continue to ignore all the notices and advice on this talk page and re-post the same article, you may be blocked from editing. Myspace and Facebook are places where you can do that, but Wikipedia is different - it is a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about article subjects.
The requirement for an organization to have a Wikipedia article is called WP:Notability, and is not a matter of saying so but has to be demonstrated by references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have people independent of the subject thought it important and significant enough to write substantial comment about?
See also WP:42 and the WP:FAQ/Organizations and, as you are connected with the organization, WP:Conflict of interest. JohnCD (talk) 17:01, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
