  Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Rockhurst High School. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. CityOfSilver 17:18, 27 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Rockhurst High School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:25, 27 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Kchawklet. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Rockhurst High School, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You have stated that you are an employee of this school. Meters (talk) 19:40, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Rockhurst High School, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Do not remove notable alumni simply because they did not play pro. It does not matter. If they are notable enough to have a wikipedia article and they attended the school (even for one day) that is sufficient, and all qualifying alumni are to be included. See WP:ALUMNI. It's not up to you to exclude certain alumni based on your opinion that they are not notable enough. Meters (talk) 19:46, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Fine I will start adding ll of the player's that played ball on the college level. I think about 80 or so guys have wikipedia articles about them. That is why we tried to keep only with the guys that played pro ball. I m only a volunteer at the school and active alum. I will start adding players tomorrow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kchawklet (talkcontribs) 04:06, May 16, 2018 (UTC)
You might want to read the COI link above, in case you have not yet. And are you also editing as the IP who was making the identical deletion? Meters (talk) 04:19, 16 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
If the alumni list gets too big for the article just move it to a standalone list. Meters (talk) 04:41, 16 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  NeilN talk to me 17:17, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

You are welcome back when you realize we're here to build an encyclopedia, and not recruitment tools for the school. --NeilN talk to me 17:19, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
