Disambiguation link notification for September 27
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited New South Wales, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Campbelltown (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

2013 NSW Bushfires
editHello Keepdry!
Thanks for your work on 2013 NSW Bushfires and related pages. I think though that your edit here at Zig Zag Railway was unnecessary. I'm pretty sure that as the lede of a page is intended to be a summary of the body text, that references in the lede are not needed. Note also that the same ref was already used on the page, ref №9 I think.
OH, please don't forget about edit summaries. :-) 220 of Borg 11:21, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- Alright no problem. You can remove it! -Keepdry (talk) 01:15, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Nah, l'll leave it for now, better too many ref than none. Just wanted you to know about the normal practices here. Happy Editing!..... And Keep it dry! ;-) 220 of Borg 05:26, 20 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello, Keepdry. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Cate McGregor, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Cate McGregor to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks, Makro (talk) 00:49, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
- But I've added a reference! -Keepdry (talk) 00:51, 1 November 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Convergence Review
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Convergence Review requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Ahecht (TALK

editThank you for your recent contributions, such as 2015 Apia International Sydney – Men's Doubles. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. I have removed the speedy tag with trust you will continue to build the article. Next time draft it or make in in a sandbox such as User:Keepdry/2015 Apia International Sydney – Men's Doubles EoRdE6(Come Talk to Me!) 01:48, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Wikilinking
editHi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.
I noticed [==Wikilinking== Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.
I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:
- dates
- years
- commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
- common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).
This applies to infoboxes, too.
Thanks, and my best wishes.

Screen Queensland moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Screen Queensland, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The One and Only Boothsift 02:44, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
Hello, Keepdry. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:Screen Queensland.
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. — JJMC89 (T·C) 02:49, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
