ummm, so you're increasing the pressure in the nalgene by a significant amount. That brings the boiling point of water higher. The upper safety limit the nalgene company gives for their HDPE bottles (most common) is 120C. You really don't need that much extra pressure to bring the boiling point of water above this level. For your safety please never boil water with the lid closed. Or do, and enjoy your cancer. Just so we're clear. boiling water without lid on is safe, and boiling water with lid closed is not such a good idea.
