@Ravenswing: Thanks for your offer to help! Here are the four articles I'm referring to:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraser_MacPherson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Handy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rita_Joe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alden_Nowlan And some further info about each - Fraser Macpherson: my Vimeo doc: https://vimeo.com/222591018 (At the bottom of the "external links" is a "dead link" to this film, Diary of a Musician, on a different website. I'd like to replace it with my Vimeo link.) Also, for clarity, I have re-titled it on Vimeo to "Fraser McPherson: Diary of a Musician." John Handy: my Vimeo doc: https://vimeo.com/223648485 I should point out that in this 25-minute film there are just a few clips from the interview with Handy, interesting and pertinent to the role of black jazz musicians, but probably 90% of the content is music performance. I mention this because it may not pass muster as a "real" documentary. Your view would be appreciated. Rita Joe: my Vimeo doc: https://vimeo.com/221619242 Again, for clarity, I have re-titled it on Vimeo; originally "Song of Eskasoni," the new title is "Rita Joe: Song of Eskasoni." Alden Nowlan: my Vimeo doc: https://vimeo.com/221605637 Thanks again, Ravenswing, for jumping in! Kelvin52 (talk) 17:36, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
- Alright, done for the other three articles, but I agree with your take that something that's largely a performance video isn't suitable per WP:EL. (It didn't hurt, generally speaking, that your documentary already had been a link on one of the articles.) Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions or issues.
