History of LEDs

edit

Thank you so much for creating it, it's an article I've wanted to exist for ages. I've moved it to History of the LED per naming conventions. JayCubby 23:38, 8 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

you're welcome! Kemik0297 (talk) 00:01, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
I made my own SiC LED some time ago, but when it comes to things like doping and CVD my knowledge falls short (you appear to have done a fantastic job on the content). Subject-matter experts, alas, are rare and growing scarcer, many thanks for contributing! JayCubby 01:10, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not introduce links in actual articles to user pages or sandboxes, as you did at History of the LED. Since these pages have not been accepted as articles, user pages, sandboxes and drafts are not suitable for linking in articles. and such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been deleted, please do not re-add any such links, thank you - Arjayay (talk) 10:31, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Arjayjay.
I am sorry to have linked in such a way. Since it was my first try at creating a page, surely I have made some mistakes. Can you please explain a little better what the links were and how they worked, so I can prevent doing this in the future? Kemik0297 (talk) 12:47, 9 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Arjayay -- I encourage you to take a look at Wikipedia:BITE
@Kemik0297 -- You seem to have worked on the article in your user sandbox before publishing. What Arjayjay is saying is linking to sandbox pages (User:Example/sandbox) or draft pages (Draft:Example) is discouraged per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking section general points on linking style, instead we link to mainspace articles (United States).
