Saint-Nazaire pocket
Good job on Saint-Nazaire pocket. There's tons of stuff to do to improve coverage of French history of World War II, and more general historical topics. Can I induce you to stick around and help with some of them? Plenty of stuff to do, I can make some suggestions, if you'd like. You'd be surprised at the number of major topics in French history that don't have articles in English like they should. I only just released Liberation of France from Draft, and I'm working on a WWI-related Draft that I was really shocked to find we were missing. It's been in Draft for six months, because of all the other stuff I'm doing, and I could really use help on it. Mathglot (talk) 18:51, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Mathglot: Thank you (and thank you for introducing me to template:ill, that's very handy.) The article is still a bit rough - but TBH so is the original :-) A modest contribution compared to the whole of the Liberation! I might try to fill some of the red links and add a bit more info from other sources before moving on. If they are small stubs, just do it the way you have been. If they involve more work than just a quick hit, consider starting them first in Draft space (i.e., Draft:English Article Name), and adding this at the top of it:

Côte de Jade moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Côte de Jade, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
