Penny Geggy
editWhile we appreciate your article on the Penny Geggy, for legal reasons we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.3 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. Regards, Jonathan Oldenbuck (talk) 09:54, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

- On a sidenote, recommend that you check your other articles for over-wikilinking. On the one I checked, you linked various names every time they appear, as opposed to just the first occurrence, which is WP standard. Linking every time turns the page into a mass of blue, and distracts the eye from appearances of new terms as the article goes along. It's save other editors some copyediting time if you could check your other articles for that issue. Neat series of articles though; I'd suggest you drop into the Talk page of WP:WikiProject Film to say hello and let them know about the area you're covering. Useful auto-citation tool for GoogleBooks
editGreetings, this tool can save you some time and standardise your footnotes. Just plug in the html address of whatever page you're on in GoogleBooks, and it makes a complete Wikipedia reference: http://reftag.appspot.com/ . MatthewVanitas (talk) 15:01, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

editHi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
