Speedy deletion nomination of Shōdai Naoya

new sumo articles

I appreciate all the work you have started doing for sumo articles on wikipedia. Please note, as is written on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Sumo as well as the at the talk page of the active sumo list Talk:List of active sumo wrestlers the following, which I pasted here from that page:

"By consensus, articles on rikishi should not be created until they have had six total tournaments or three total winning tournaments (kachikoshi) in makuuchi. This rule was put into place because often times a rikishi does well in jūryō and is moved into a decent ranking in makuuchi, only to achieve one or two unimpressive makekoshi tournaments to demote him back down to jūryō or eventually even lower where he languishes in obscurity. This rule is designed to keep the number of rikishi that need to be updated regularly down to a manageable number for the limited number of contributors here. This rule can be ignored if there is another criteria for notability (for example Ichinojō being one of the first foreign born wrestlers to receive makushita tsukedashi status or Endō's near instant popularity upon joining pro sumo). However please ask here or on the WP:SUMO page for a consensus on a wrestler's notability."

Often well meaning users come in and make a few wrestler articles and then after a short while we don't hear from them anymore, and we are left updating the articles.
