Award
I award you this minor barnstar in appreciation of your thousands of minor edits to Wikipedia. Thanks for following up behind those of us who always mispell words and forget that there's more than one place called Georgia. You can find some convenient javascript tools at WikiProject User scripts that can help you find and fix a lot of common mistakes. Keep up the great work! --TantalumTelluride 20:21, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
User Needs Assistance
I noticed that you edited List of District Attorneys by county a while back. I was wondering if you could help me with a problem I encountered editing that article when I added Philidelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham to the List. When I added her name to the List, it messed up the formatting, and I cannot figure out how to fix it. --TommyBoy 00:10, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Bot or not?
Is this user a bot? S/he is certainly a machine: editing continuously, may articles per minute. Certainly doing good work though, so keep it up. mgekelly 08:15, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- I am not a bot. I just work quickly and often.--Khatru2 17:34, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

thanks for fixing the olympics list! --Astrokey44 11:13, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for dabbing Georgia at Portal:Chess/Did you know; for some reason, I thought that Georgia'd recently been redirected to the country page, but I observe that I was altogether wrong! :) Joe 04:05, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- And thanks for catching this again. I invariably use Georgia (U.S. state), but regularly omit any designation relative to the country; I rather think that Georgia ought to point to the country page, supra to which would be an {{otheruses}} toward a Georgia (disambiguation), but it's not a particularly pressing issue, and I don't imagine anyone would be particularly interested in a move. In any case, thanks once more for fixing my oversight. Joe 21:09, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. As you can probably tell, I often check incoming links to Georgia. There is significant support for the country page to occupy Georgia (See Talk:Georgia and Talk:Georgia (country). However, I am personally opposed to such a move, because so many people link to Georgia when they are referring to the U.S. state. Khatru2 21:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi there. I saw you had edited this template by putting a line break in. Was this to improve the formatting? I think there are issues about screen resolution here, because this change completely spoiled the formatting on my 1152x864 Firefox display. It looked like this:
This image is a current featured picture candidate. A featured picture should exemplify Wikipedia's very best work,
and is therefore expected
to meet several criteria. Please feel free to leave comments on Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates.
For the time being, I have reverted it back to its former style. Perhaps you can find a way of formatting it that looks good on all reasonable screen resolutions. Regards, BillC 07:47, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. On most pages for me the word "should" is partially covered. I don't know how to fix it. Khatru2 17:03, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Editing Assistance Needed
I noticed that you made some additions to Sa'ad Al-Faqih's page, and was wondering if you could help me by providing me with your editing assistant. I have a lot of information that I want to add about MIRA and the political system in Saudi Arabia. Do you have msn messenger? --Arabiainfo 00:59, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- I did not actually add any information to the Sa'ad Al-Faqih article. I just removed your signature from it. [1] In the future, please only sign your posts on talk pages, not your edits to articles. Feel free to add any information you might have about MIRA and Saudi Arabia to the appropriate articles themselves. If you would like to contact me, just use this talk page. Truly Nolen article
Just curious why you think it sounds like an advertisement? (It's not, by the way.) Deathbunny 07:33, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps it was the "(tm)" at the beginning of the article that led me to believe it was an advertisement.Khatru2 05:57, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'm a bit of a newbie and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to mention that or not. I did work for them years ago, but I wouldn't consider what I wrote an advertisement, more a statment. Is there anything you would think would help make it less "advertisement-like" without compromising information? Deathbunny 18:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- I don't believe we need to put "tm" in articles, but I am not sure of that. The article is better now that the sentence "The company's central working philosophy is taking care of the customers they have and that the customer is always right." has been taken out, so I removed the advertisement template. Khatru2 18:20, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice/input. I'm the first to admit I'm still learning the ropes... Deathbunny 21:37, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Requested move
FYI, I am going to de-list your Syriacs/miniproject → Talk:Syriacs/miniproject move request. The steps for requesting a page move were not followed so no one else had a chance to see or vote on the request. Those steps put the article in a category and make a convenient place to vote. Feel free to re-list the request. —Wknight94 (talk) 16:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

TYSA
Thanks for cleaning up the external links. Does the TYSA article now have importance? In not, could you suggest information to add? DeineMutter 21:54, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Greetings. I'm User:Ludvikus, a novice Wikipedia. I've edited the Biography section--but I don't know how to remove the Template. Can you help? Thans. Ludvikus 01:50, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- I removed the template for you. If you need any more help, feel free to ask. Khatru2 01:54, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your kind assistance.
Can you revisite the article to see if it can be further improved as to form? Thanks.
- I don't think the "publications" section is formatted properly, since I have never seen publications listed in gray boxes before. However, I am unsure as to what the standard is for listing them. Consider looking at other similar articles for comparison to see how they are formatted. Khatru2 00:56, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Will you pl. see the India Today article?
Will you pl. see the copy-pasted article of India Today on talk pages of Swadhyay Parivar along with my comments?
I am sorry if caused inconvenience
I am sorry if caused inconvenience. The fact is Swadhyay Parivar are into criminal activities now under guise of religious work. I do not want them to glorify themselves by false claims on Wikipedia. Even now, someone had removed critical links to falsely glorify Swadhyay Parivar and they use such comments to mis-lead the people, police, judiciary and Govt. of India to safeguard themselves against legal consequences for their wrong deeds.
I am trying to apprise everyone who has shown slightest interest with one intention that they know the truth and support me in maintaing a neutral article. Swadhyayee 18:35, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Messed my Native American Site up
Thank For messing up what i did the red areas was what i and other ppl was going to Role Play [[2]] Gewi 22:05, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
- Please explain to me how I "messed up" the article. I was formatting it to conform to the Manual of Style. The main article namespace is where the encyclopedia articles go and is not the place for "role playing" games. Also, keep in mind that nobody owns the articles on Wikipedia and that Wikipedia is not a free host, blog, webspace provider or social networking site. Khatru2 22:59, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
The Red areas in the Page I and Some other people was going to Role play the Battles. If you would of read everything on the Site you would of none that.
I had this up there.
Most of these battle in the French and Indian War will Wrote from research. Some will be Role Played and research done to do the Role Plays. Ill Be looking for French and British Troop and Militia Officers and Native American Leaders to Role Play. Gewi 03:28, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- Regardless, the main article namespace on Wikipedia is for encyclopedia articles only. Thus, any articles in the main namespace must comply to all of the usual policies such as the Manual of Style and Guide to Layout. Because of this, I have reverted all of my changes to the article and moved it to the user talk space at the page User talk:Gewi/Wars Between Native Americans and Other Nations. In the future, I will suggest that the original article titles be deleted. Khatru2 04:49, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
Ok thank sorry to put you through all that. Plus im sorry about my first post. I was rude. Would you like to role play. Gewi 05:28, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- Not a problem. Enjoy your game. Khatru2 05:30, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
I will. Ill look in here time to time see whats upGewi 05:33, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
"likeresume" Tag
Thank you for putting the "likeresume" tag on the Nathan Rosenberg article. I was not aware that such a tag existed, but it does indeed exemplify the need for more balance within the article, so that it reads with more of a neutral tone. (As well as the fact that aside from Nathan Rosenberg's own company's Corporate Website, there are no other reputable sources to back up the claims which require citations).Smeelgova 04:19, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Stylistics
Thank you for helping me write the Wikipeadia article for ‘Stylistics (linguistics)’.
I think that I got the hang of things – in the end.
I’ve now finished my contribution – give or take the odd minor correction.
I hope to be able to contribute to your project again. I did feel that this entry deserved a fuller explanation.
As for the biographical note, no, I did not write this (but my agent did). I just pasted it in.
I fully accept your guidelines and will, therefore, edit it to a form consistent with your standards and style.
I do feel, however, that a brief entry about my work and credentials should be available for scrutiny, but please feel free to edit accordingly.
Thanks again for all your assistance.

Searching for page that was moved
I did the no-no of copying and pasting a page, rather than moving it. You pointed out my error, and someone, possibly you, moved it from N'wenglish to NuEnglish. But now a search for "NuEnglish" yields no results. Please tell what I should do to make the search work. Thanks. LanguageMan 02:32, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- According to Wikipedia:Very Frequently Asked Questions:
- "The search index is often out of date, sometimes taking weeks before it's updated. Recent changes are not reflected until the next time the search index is updated. Also, article names are case sensitive. The "go" button usually masks this, but if an article name includes a mixture of capitalized and uncapitalized words or any words in camelCase a redirect is necessary."
- This particular article is CamelCase, so perhaps that is the reason for the issue. However, the go button still works in this case. I hope this answers your question. Khatru2 02:44, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
Regarding your latest edit to the PoE page; i was just wondering, which words exactly do you believe to be weasel words? I believe a lot of the information on that page (if not all) is presented very clearly and obtusely, almost too much, without weasel words being sneaked in. Also, the article references the PoE site and some other news articles in the External Links section which I believe would clear it from necessitating the citation tag at the top. I am mostly disconcerted because as far as I can tell you left no notice on the Talk page about your concerns for weasel words and citations. I think if you see individual passages that need citations you should add the specific citation tag to them. I just want you to know what I plan on removing the weasel words and citation markers at the top of the page when I get back home later tonight (I totally agree on the cleanup part), and I will try to see what I can do about your concerns. Please leave any comments or concerns on the PoE discussion page. 128.122.253.228 17:46, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I saw your edits on this page, and perhaps I can help. I have made significant changes to this page and know in gory detail how those templates work, so perhaps you can tell me what you are trying to change and I'll tell you what to do. Andrwsc 23:40, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Stephen Campbell
Hi there. I have absolutely NO IDEA how that happened, nor even where those sentences came from!? I did go to correct your Stephen ampbell move as I initially thought it was page move vandalism. However I checked your contribs before doing so, saw you were a good faith editor and reconsidered. How fricken odd! Any idea where those lines even came from? Glen 22:44, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Waylander the Slayer
Thanks for being the first person (apart from me) to edit this article. The article and Wikipedia in general need more people like you who do this sort of stuff that others forget or don't know how to do. Thank you, again.
Also, others who know anything about David Gemmell's character Waylander the Slayer, please add to the article of the same name.

Regarding ProfL
Greetings Khatru2. Thanks for your detailed response regarding your request for deletion of my User Page. I'm beginning to twig on to why it is contoversial. I think we need to come to an agreement about the guidelines as to whether a userpage "is for anything that is compatible with the Wikipedia project." I wasn't aware that User Pages are only for Editors that contribute on a regular basis. I am not clear as to what the Wikipedia Project is if it doesn't include users like me. As an avid user, I decided to "use" my page for this purpose, perhaps in error, but I thought the exposure to students was a key factor in "building" Wikipedia. On a proactive note, I'd like to pare down the college specific links and rework the Wiki content to my course outlines only. It seems as if that would be within the guidelines. If I could get a fix on the contribution aspect, I could certainly devote more time to editing other pages too. Let me know what you think. I look forward to a fair response from the editors. -ProfL

Good morning. Per the discussion about privacy concerns expressed at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Privacy of birthdays, date of birth should generally not be added to the biographies of living non-public or semi-public figures. So far, that policy has been interpreted fairly strictly with a pretty high bar being set for public figures who are assumed to have given up their rights to privacy.
By the same token, we should not be adding Category:Date of birth missing to articles unless we have made the case that the person meets the "public figures" threshold. Otherwise, we're just baiting new users into adding content even though the community has already said that we shouldn't include that particular data point. Category:Year of birth missing is okay but the exact date is often not. Thanks. Rossami (talk) 16:58, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- The realization that we need to be concerned about privacy is a recent development so I'm not surprised that there is still considerable inconsistency. between biographies. There is also a great deal of subjective judgment in whether any one person is "public" as opposed to merely "semi-public". I believe that we should err on the side of protecting people's privacy and have been removing the category from the biographies of living people in almost all cases. Thanks. Rossami (talk) 21:41, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Election disambiguation pages
Good work on converting those election redirects to disambiguation pages. I think however, that it is a problem having the United States presidential elections so far down the list. Even though Wikipedia is not US-centric, the English Wikipedia is English-centric and one of the most common targets for "2000 elections" is going to be the U.S. presidential elections. What do you think we could do about it? I don't want to go and totally refactor all the work you've done without asking you for input first. -- Renesis (talk) 17:47, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

PSG CAS and PSG Tech
I saw your template on PSG CAS for merging it with PSG Tech. I don't know whether you know about both colleges. I studied my Under Graduation in PSG CAS and Post Graduation in PSG Tech and I always said, both of the colleges have very different college life and culture. It won't be factually correct to merge them. It would be better to put PSG CAS as STUB and improve it from there after.

Albany (disambiguation)
Hi Khatru2, I got your message about the Albany disambiguation page. I don't really understand why you wish to link the "otheruses" to "Albany (disambiguation)", when that simply redirects back to "Albany". Are you reserving the disambiguation title in case people decide to change the name of the disambiguation page back to it? The Wikipedia:disambiguation page doesn't really make it clear to me. Thanks for your help. 13:27, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
