MIAC hockey

edit

thanks for adding the info on MIAC hockey champions. I noticed you seem to list champions by the first year instead of the second year for example 2005 for 2005-06. It seems at least IMO that most of the time people will list a champ by the last season for example 2006 for 2005-06 champs Smith03 01:13, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: Thanks.. I will fix that.. The format is from the MIAC records page.

Maybe you'd be interested in working on these

edit

I've just created/worked on some very bare bones stubs for the German 2nd Bundesliga (ice hockey) leage and the Bremerhaven Rev team Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven. I see that you're a member of our ice hockey wikiproject, and have some German skills. Feel free to take a look at these : ) ColtsScore 14:49, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Grovelling apologies; I reverted someone else's edit, which reverted to an edit by you — and somehow I sent the above to you instead of to him... --Mel Etitis (Talk) 18:53, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Mchalogo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Warren P. Knowles/UW-River Falls

edit

Hi-there was a Warren P. Knowles who was a coach at UW-River Falls in 1899 but he was not the Governor of Wisconsin Warren P. Knowles who was born in 1908. It would be an interesting article about Warren P. Knowles the football coach at UW-River Falls-thanks-RFD (talk) 12:09, 7 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I look at information about Wisconsin State Senator Robert Knowles the younger brother of Wisconsin Governor Warren Knowles. Their father was Judge Warren Knowles and I am thinking that Judge Warren Knowles was a coach at UW-River Falls in 1899. Also the Knowles Family House in River Falls was a block from UW-River Falls campus. Will do more research-thanks-RFD (talk) 12:47, 7 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks.. Yah.. pretty sure now it was Judge Warren Perley Knowles, II (1878 - 1939)...

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association

edit

The article Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article does not meet the notability requirements for organizations. It is not much more than a list of its member organizations.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
