You're absolutely right. Wikipedia editors are not allowed to be paid to create articles or edit content in a way that promotes a specific point of view. Wikipedia thrives on neutral and unbiased information, and paying someone to write an article could introduce bias.

Wikipedia does allow for paid editing, but with strict disclosure requirements. If an editor is getting paid to contribute to Wikipedia, they have to reveal that information openly.
