Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, KimmySchmidt. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Aspening (talk) 23:55, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Secondary sources / COI / AFC
editHello friend. It is important to use reliable, secondary sources in articles. A reliable secondary source is an independently published source (not self-published source) that has no direct connection to the article's subject. I notice your Zoe Elizabeth article is full of primary and self-published sources such as Instagram, IMDB, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter, and the subject's personal website. Examples of good secondary sources are newspaper articles, magazine articles, and books. You should go back to using the articles for creation process in the future. This will give your articles the best chance of meeting our policies and not getting nominated for deletion. Also, since you appear to have a conflict of interest (one of your photo captions states "I'm the Official Assistant for ZB Productions", and ZB Productions appears to be the company that Zoe Elizabeth works for/is signed with), you are required to use the AFC process anyway. Hope that helps. Happy editing. –Novem Linguae (talk) 00:29, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
Zoe Elizabeth moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Zoe Elizabeth, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Already done! I was planning on doing them today, and I did them, only to have a hacker come and delete the entire thing... any clue how to get it back?

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Zoe Elizabeth
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Zoe Elizabeth, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CUPIDICAE💕 00:15, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 03:41, 3 February 2021 (UTC)- You have been warned previously about editing in a promotional manner, but it doesn't seem like you've taken any of it to heart. If anything, you've done the opposite of what someone with a conflict of interest should be doing, as you actually removed the mandatory disclosure on your talk page along with many warnings about editing neutrally and about editing with a conflict of interest as a whole. While one can edit with a conflict of interest, you must edit in a neutral fashion and follow guidelines very carefully. Ignoring warnings is not going to accomplish anything positive. Changing your signature to read "ASKS by ZBP TRADEMARKED" doesn't really come across in a good fashion either, as it implies that you are just here to promote Zoe Elizabeth. When I posted on your talk page I also gave you a warning about trademarks on Wikipedia as well. (MOS:TMRULES) I have blocked you because I don't see any sign that you've tried to edit neutrally or follow guidelines. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 03:46, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
