editThank you for reporting this. The user made only two edits, at least from that IP and appears to have stopped after receiving a warning. In the future you can get a quicker response by reporting vandals at WP:AIV. —WAvegetarian (talk) 02:58, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Zero (Polish Band)
editA tag has been placed on Zero (Polish Band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Hi, I noticed you decided to put "hangon" on the article and I read your rationale on the talk page. I'm happy to try and help you through this because I don't want the page to b deleted. The problem is, it doesn't meet our criteria for inclusion, such as notability. In order to avert speedy deletion, you need to make some verifiable claim that the band is remarkable- for example, have they had top tens (in any country)? Are the band members particularly famous? Something like "The song has been recognized by DJ magazine's the best piece in 1998" is a good start if you can find a source for it. That would probably be enough to avoid speedy deletion, however, I'd advise you to find all the sources you can because, while it may not meet CSD A7, it may still be deleted through Articles for Deletion. Good sources would be things like reviews/interviews in reputable magazines, newspaper articles etc. You might like to look at the articles of other bands on Wikipedia and look at the sources they use. I can't help you much with the research because I'm quite busy at the minute, but if you need help putting the sources into the article or with anything else, please drop me a line on my talk page. If you want to talk privately you can go to my page, click "edit" and then click the link in the box that says "email me" and send me an email (though leave me a message to say you sent it). - Page was already deleted. Oh well. I'll try to find some sources for it and will try again. At that time, if you wouldn't mind helping with the source citation bit, that'd be great. King Semsem (talk) 21:47, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Definitely. If you can find a few web pages (try searching Google News and searching within the websites of newspapers etc) to establish notability, I'd be happy to help build the article and help you cite the sources. I'd suggest giving it a week or so because someone else will probably tag it very quickly. After, that, drop me a line when you're ready. Don't be put of that it was deleted though- it happens to the best of us. Regards, HJMitchell You rang? 22:00, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
