μBlock --> uBlock Rebranding
editSo does that mean that it's no longer pronounced "myoo-block", but rather "yoo-block"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SarahTehCat (talk • contribs) 18:38, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'm under the impression Hill's intention for pronunciation was you-block from the beginning. With the stylized mu this led to a great deal of confusion which was the impetus for the rebrand. As far as the Firefox page, not sure why it hasn't been changed. Possibly a technical limitation like the Opera Store. Kintpuash (talk) 16:44, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello, I am an undergraduate history student doing research on the Louisville Confederate monument for my undergraduate history thesis. I noticed that you were pretty influential in developing the Wikipedia page for the monument which is impressively researched. I was wondering what got you involved in researching this monument. Would you be willing to talk to me about the process of researching this article? I should say I have no political motives- I am just interested in the history of the monument and how it plays into the larger story of remembering the civil war in America. Hubble constant
editHi, since the last version of File:Hubbleconstants.svg two more measurements came out, see the list. I wonder if you could update the svg. It is a nice graph to see what is going on. --mfb (talk) 07:27, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
- I'm across the country from the desktop with the source files at the moment, otherwise it would be a fast edit. I'll give it a stab soon to update the chart. Kintpuash (talk) 23:17, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
