Hi, Kippi70! I saw your contributions and I see you're active on the Hebrew Wikipedia, so I thought I'd invite you to join. Cheers, Nudve (talk) 17:43, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi and thanks for inviting me. I do not have time to add content in English, as i think doing so in the Hebrew one is much more critical. I just fix critical issues here. If you really need help on something let me know. Best Regards --Kippi70 (talk) 11:49, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Logo of Hod Hasharon

edit

Could you provide me a link to the image that I deleted? I vaguely remember deleting an image of this type, but until you show me the link, I can't do anything. Nyttend (talk) 14:23, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi and thanks for the swift reply. You did NOT delete anything, you just replaced the link to the updated and correct COA of Ramat Hasharon in the En Wiki (which i added) to an older image in Fair Use which is neither up-to-date nor official. I have place links in your discussion page to both images. Could we continue the discussion on your page? Best Regards --Kippi70 (talk) 15:06, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, continue, but you have to reply on my talk page for that to start :-) Find me the diffs on the articles (not entirely sure which articles you mean) and I can deal with them. Nyttend (talk) 21:26, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Forgive my confusion: I didn't realise that you meant that article. The reason that I changed the images — and the reason that I don't want to again — is that the local image is listed as nonfree, but the Commons image is not. Something's wrong, and it's best to err on the side of caution by using the safe local nonfree with proper rationale, especially because your image isn't a photo. Nyttend (talk) 22:01, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hi Nyttend - as i said the rationale given on the unfree COA is NOT valid. And i repeat what i said for the third time - the COA i uploaded to Commons is a PHOTO i took myself of the COA placed in a public park. Anyway, FOP in Israel is clearly explained in the Template i set to the image in Commons, and a COA falls under FOP in Israel. Best Regards --Kippi70 (talk) 22:55, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proper English and external perspective

edit

Heyo Kippi70,
I've been noted that a suggestion of mine was "bad English" and when I suggested to consult an external grammar expert, I was attacked with "that English is not your first language is painfully apparent in all of your edits". I'd appreciate your note if the following phrasing is of clear low quality:

  • "[x is a] critic of Israel and Jewish settlers, to whom he attributes...[Palestinian hardships]".

The discussion is on the talkpage of Gideon Levy and I am concerned with the lack of collaboration on the part of my discussion partner here (scroll up for "Suggested version").

zvi zamir- you added there something not true. why? see didc. page of the man. Nachum (talk) 08:03, 16 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Dear Nachum, are you sending me to check the whole article in Google? since when is Goolge Transaltor a valid reference to anything? Please cite the specific sentance which you think is wrong and i might be able to help you.

Best regards --Kippi70 (talk) 14:37, 16 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Im 1948 hat er bereits hochrangige Offiziere ausgebildet- i was told that you added this sentence. is it true? thanks. Nachum (talk) 13:33, 17 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hi again. No, the phrase you quote was not added by me. I added this text: "Er nahm unter anderem am Palästinakrieg teil und im Jahr 1949 diente er als einer der ersten Ausbilder in Tzahal für neue Bataillonskommandanten. Im Jahr danach hat er bereits hochrangige Offiziere ausgebildet. i Added this based on a source i read and the Hebrew Wiki. I will fix the text in the German Wiki accordingly. Best Regards --Kippi70 (talk) 14:57, 17 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
thanks for the answer. if you dont want to fix the text - let me know. Nachum (talk) 11:57, 18 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
I fixed it alreay. Best regards --Kippi70 (talk) 12:01, 18 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
