- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced to multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring and sockpuppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Lastly, if you are editing an article about an individual or group of people, please adhere to Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons' policy.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Altered speedy deletion rationale: Mutheeri mahallu
editHello Kiran Gopi. I am just letting you know that I deleted Mutheeri mahallu, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. GedUK 11:49, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Please be careful when adding pictures
editThis is regarding your edit for the phone gap page. Please do not associate wrong logos with a company. Phone gap is a open source Apache project. You had associated a wrong logo with it. Please be more careful the next time you change logos. -Your friendly wiki editor Amarprabhu (talk) 09:52, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- My mistake wrongly updated the file name. thanks for pointing it--Kiran Gopi (talk) 12:12, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
NSS
editWhy have you changed the generic NSS logo for one that relates to a specific location? The article is about the society a a whole, not one branch of it. - Sitush (talk) 06:20, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- It is not related to a specific location. It is the same logo of NSS.--Kiran Gopi (talk) 06:34, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- No, it is not the same. The colours are different. I realised after posting above that you had nominated the dreadful free use logo for CSD and I have contested that nomination. I am not great with image-related stuff but this just seems all wrong to me. Much as I would like to see a free-use (and far better quality) image being used, your change seems to me to be equivalent to someone producing a one-off Ford cars logo that uses red instead of blue as its background. - Sitush (talk) 06:46, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, the real logo doesn't contain the orange color in the background. Here we used the orange colour because the websites banner in orange colour. See the his logo from here. --Kiran Gopi (talk) 08:34, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
