How do I add categories to an article? Thanks
- You add [[Category:Name of the category]] at the bottom of the article. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:04, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

I have found two pages Henry Guildford and Henry Guilford that are about the same person, so either need merging or one needs to be deleted. What do I do, or who do I notify? Kissmaiden (talk) 08:58, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for asking for help, Kissmaiden. In answer to your question, the shorter of these two articles, Henry Guilford can be made into a redirect, which means if someone types in the name as Henry Guilford, it will send that person to the larger, main article on Henry Guildford. To do this, edit the Henry Guilford page, remove all the text, and replace it with this:
- #REDIRECT [[Henry Guildford]]
- Make a note in the edit summary that you're redirecting to Henry Guildford as it's a duplicate entry, and that will be fine. If you need anymore help, please don't hesitate to ask. FishBarking? 10:19, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

I have put in a nomination for Template:Did you know nominations/William Joy (master mason). I didn't add an image, and now I can't work out how to. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kissmaiden (talk • contribs)
- I have added support for image insertion at Template:Did you know nominations/William Joy (master mason) here. Replace the "Example.jpg" with your desired image and insert the caption! Faizan 05:54, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
DYK for William Joy (master mason)
editOn 6 February 2014, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article William Joy (master mason), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that William Joy used scissors to save the tower of Wells Cathedral (pictured) from collapse? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/William Joy (master mason). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
