Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Systemically important financial institution, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page State Street. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Invite to the African Destubathon

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Kndimov. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

New 10,000 Challenge for Canada

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Canada/The 10,000 Challenge is up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge for the UK which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. If you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Canada like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1600 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for Canada but fuelled by a contest such as The North America Destubathon to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. I would like some support from Canadian wikipedians here to get the Challenge off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile! Cheers. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:55, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Vandalism

I hereby apologise for vandalising the socialist Mateusz Morawiecki's page. I find it ironic, that a NGO oragnization, made up of volunteers fixes, in 1 minute, a webpage about the current Poland's Minister of Finance, a darn socialist to boot, who declares that without the govenment, nothing is able to function properly :). Have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.7.170.9 (talk) 22:41, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

True Aviation

I found the article in a neglected state with serious grammar problems, decided to fix it up to what I considered high-quality stub-grade. I hear you consider it start-class, but I would still consider it a stub. Not gonna edit war you, but I didn't really add any new information. -- Ellenor2000 (talk) 01:42, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Well the article (2016 True Aviation An-26 crash) looks decent. I don't really mind reclassifying it as a stub if you want. It seems to be on the border between stub and start. -- Kndimov (talk) 02:55, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

2016 US prez election.

Howdy. Which US presidential election, between 1808 & 2016, has multiple faithless electors voted for somebody other then the pledged qualified presidential candidate? GoodDay (talk) 01:46, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

My mistake. I misunderstood the sentence. The current one makes more sense. Sorry. -- Kndimov (talk) 01:50, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Bypassing redirects

I saw your recent piping of a link in order to bypass a redirect. While I understand this instinct, wanting to take a step out of the process, this is actually something that is recommended against. If you've never read WP:NOTBROKEN, it's worth having a look! --Nat Gertler (talk) 15:36, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
